I have never asked for weekly updates.....I've never asked for bi-weekly updates...hell, I've never asked more than one question....and I've only posted two threads! Looking back, you couldn't be more wrong about me. That being said, I think your leotards are a bit tight. So step off unless you have something new to say. I have been spanked and prodded be every carnival act here, you adding your act to the ring is fruitless. I'm still looking for a simple answer...It's all I've ever wanted. I've never complained about the game or FM's, or maps....I have only, ever, asked one simple question, and would have accepted even a guestimate. Anything is better than dead silence. Now go away.
No.........................

you know.......that stuff you use to buy your family's food with?
I suppose your also going to leave us to assume that 4.09 is completely dead too?
I know that most of the people you deal with in hear in here are thread hi-jacking carnival acts, but we are ALL future customers.
We don't want any more PICTURES, or VIDEOS.....we want to hear FROM YOU!!! Maybe a hopeful or forecasted release date or, are your at a dead stop?
Is 4.09 dead? Gives us SOMETHING, guys!!
Look man... even with the best of intentions... what kind of response did you expect? I mean really? Then in your firast post you start with the carnival acts bit .. and I just don't get the Bush bit at all... Maybe it's just too deep for me to understand...

In any case... I have no opinion about YOU either way.. it is your post that I had issues with and responded to.

Everyone has the right to express their opinion without being attacked and called names. IL2 is tired and error ridden and is now open to hacked f/ms. Bring on SoW, the sooner the better.
Rude? I thought I was pretty thorough on why IL2 wasn't left a mess by Maddox.. as you said .. and frankly yes you are entitled to your opinions .. but I can't understand even on other boards why people come and vent what just is not the case... a mess? Give me a break. The sim has issues.. yes this 10 year old sim engine has issues... ya think... but I just don't see the thing as an incomplete mess.. sorry..

IL2 is a mess. IL2 is trying to do what it was never designed to do. It was obsolete long ago. SoW engine is long overdue to replace the IL2 engine. You have your opinion and I have mine, live with that - you have no other choice.

What I do not understand with these sorts of opinions: If somebody doesn't like that game at all, why don't they just leave it? Nobody forces people to play IL2!
And posting comments on some peoples frustration with the game surely doesn't help anybody and it even less will speed up the process of finishing a sequel.

Don't get me wrong, I'm really, really glad most of us live in a democracy, which gives everybody the right to have his own opinion, but I am also glad that in democracy this right ends, when it does offend and deminish the rights of other people.
So, while having an opinion and stating it is perfectly democratic, writing it on your banner, marching through a bunch of dedicated fans and flaming them for it, is not.

Some people should bear that little difference in mind, when stating complains about democracy and rights for free will.

Dear All,
What I find so interesting with these discussions is that they show that it really does not matter what a person says.....but it is down to the recipient deciding whether he has taken offence or not, which is very much like emotional blackmail. So our free society is destroyed by those that take offence where there really is none. You are free to offend and free to take offence. Those that choose to be offended should realise that it is their right to be offended....but that is as far as it goes.....they have no right to gag someone else on the basis of that!
Best regards,
Pike.

Exactly! So the question remains: Why start demonstrating your own opinion amongst people who you KNOW to think the opposite?
