Would appreciate to have clear audible relay noises to indicate when turning lights/emergency lights are on. Currently these clicking noises are almost inaudible and seem to bee randomly fading in and out. Reducing audio quality and adjusting volumes from the settings menu did not help much.
I edited TurnlightRelay1.wav and TurnlightRelay2.wav (normalizing to 0.0 dB) and applied -20.0 dB amplification effect to almost all other sounds. It still did not do the trick as fade-in fade-out still remained and this effect bothers me a lot. This "problem" might be caused by some unneeded 3d audio effect changing the original .wav files in the game. The game is great fun to play though ![]() |

Hello & welcome to the forum.
![]() Try the mod in the “Mods for purchase thread” This may help. I haven’t tried it myself, but it’s just a suggestion. There will be no further updates, or patches for this game. The only help you’ll get is from some of the mods for this game, by our creative truck gamers. ![]() |

Thanks for your reply. I have not been able to use any patches yet. This could be a Steam related problem but replacing any .pkqt file from the patch (Setup_RnRModEng1.1) wav folder causes the game not to run properly when executed.
Steam is set to update RnR automatically so I have not even dared to try applying rnr_en_update_setup3.0.1.0. This patch fixes some crash issues and it probably doesn't change audio levels. |

There will be no further updates/patches for RNR. The patch you currently have listed (3.1) is included in the Steam version, and you don't have to download or install it.
From what I've heard the mods don't seem to disturb RNR Steam versions. If it does, just uninstall the game, and re-install it. ![]() |
