Major fps killer for me, are there any tweaks which will nurse the FPS instead of disabling it altogether?

Effects to Medium help a bit, at least for me. But I am afraid we have to wait for the GFX patch to remedy most issues I guess..

Games not as bad as it used to be but smoke and dust are the main culprits for killing fps for me anyway!

Flanker - I have a slightly lower spec machine than you, but smoke never seems to be a problem for me (I assumed it was an NVidia issue). I suppose the main difference is that I'm running a low res monitor at 1280x1024 (I'll change once the graphics coding speeds up).

CPU Core 2 Quad (dunno model), AMD 6950 2Gb flashed into a 6970, cheap SSD.
