Where Eagles Dare is da' schnitzel. At the risk of introducing a bit of variation to the thread I'd like to offer not a theme, but a moment from a film.

The Wild Geese, also featuring Richard Burton. The scene where they literally pour out of the C-130 for their HALO jump. Alas, I could only find it in German, but the music and the visuals are for all.

I think music soundtracks to war movies are starting to go down hill as are most war movies.
