Had problems as client too last night. Steam kept telling "Not Connected". Checked their forums and employee had written some maintenance was going on. But have had more and more problems with Steam lately. Could it be related to the recent attack or what?

I was unable to host a server (not dedicated server) yesterday. When I tried to open the server I got a error message that steam couldn't connect or something.

Same problem here.
Last night I couldn´t run our Alas de Acero Dedi server. First all seems to be ok, but every 10-15 minutes or 30... the server stopped and a message window said that was disconnected from Steam... May be some maintenance, but it´s happening sporadically the last few days...
