what happens to me which i hope its the same with you:
when i try to unfocus at close distance all i get is to see double, that must be because the triad of muscle which focus the eyelens controls the size of the pupil and control the parallax of the eyes work at unsion so its a matter of being able to contrl independent to solve any glasses problem
