Unless I'm much mistaken, there are three: Knight, Paladin, and Mage. The Paladin looks exellent, all mythic and heroic and kinda hot. The other two...not so much...

That's right. There are 3 options in choosing a chracter in the beginning of the game - Knight, Paladin, and Mage.
