Awesome! Maybe we can see something like WoP servers have in 1946 in the future, that would be really good. Especially for bomber guys atm.

Hi Alpha - it's not a standalone script. It's based off the stats stillborn made for his volcanic island mission. Basically you have to script all the objects/locations for tracking stats. Just take a gander at stillborn's mission and you'll see how he did it.

Instead of setting resets to monthly can you set resets on pilot deaths?

If your pilot dies you loose all stats?

Would make it realistic to want to survive the flight back home and give the bail out command a purpose.

Well, the whole intent isn't really to drive people to fly a certain way. The ranking part would be a nice addition, and I imagine stuff like that will come in the future. We don't want stat whores , but it's a nice way for bombers guys to finally see what they've done throughout the month. Fighter guys as well.

Regarding the one life stat : If years ago I wld hve had the same opinion, I think today with years of online expe that this rule wld be too restrictive.

Even if it's a good time, It's a game. It means that some time, you shot up CoD without being in the same mood as if you had to fight for your own life (and the mission obj). For example, some time, it can happens that I am myself watching TV while playing CoD. Or worst be completely drunk

(I kown I know, you'd say that Pappy did score most of his kills in that state. But he was talented what I am not even in a virtual world)

So one death per stat will mean that me (and many other) wld play CoD only when they are fit to go according to their expectation.

So, for the sake of keeping this server populated, I wld be more indulgent with only 3death per Stats (inspired from the legendary WC server).

Don't worry - they're just there for a nice collection of your performance of the month. By all means, you shouldn't and don't have to fly any differently. Now you just get to see some of the stuff you've accomplished!

You can go to our home page by selecting "home" from the forums. That will bring you to the playerlist/stats page. Also, I'm adding a stats link to the navbar as we speak for a full page link.

Brilliant work and many thanks to all involved in getting this working and implemented, I should think that this will really help encourage more people into the bombers, and the bomber objectives now have some value. Did you manage to put a scoring value on fixed objects such as hangers, radar towers, buildings ect or is that not possible at this stage?

All the default objects that are part of the channel map (hangers/some of the radar towers etc) are not possible (to my knowledge), but basically every single objective in the briefing for both sides will count (if destroyed = 1 kill).

There's plenty more to figure out with this and wildwillie/Doggles are both working on some sort of integrated stats program. So here's hoping to see what they figure out

(sorry for the shameless plug). Ideally I'd love to be able to find a way to pull the stats out of the website, at the moment tho u do have to enter them in manually. There is a historical element to this as well tho as I like the activity of filling the log in after sorties, plus it only takes 2'mins and u can choose to exclude drunken sorties!!

Hopefully this helps fill the void till someone much smarter than me can create an integrated one!

i just looked at the stats page...thx atag guys for this one...i have not flown yet since the stats are up, but what i miss, is a death counter.and a kill/death ratio.
