The videos that Richie provided links (at least the parts I listened to) sounded like they were recorded inside the cockpit. As opposed to the video that you provided. That is going to have a big impact on the sound.

It also seems like the sound recording quality is higher in Richie's videos, which may have used proffessional equipment. If you listen to some of the background sounds in the Barfly video, you can tell the audio is not that great.

That being said, I think there is a common phenomenon where people experience things often enough (whether sound or visuals) in video games or movies, and take that to be authentic or true to life. I've done it, and I suspect most simmers have as well. Sometimes we end up seeing/hearing something that is more authentic, but rejecting it because it doesn't fit our expectations.

I could be wrong, but wasn't the latest barfly video created using footage and sounds from before the beta / official patch that even had the upgraded sound engine in them, but instead was using one of the sound mods floating around?

What happened to the 3D support is there still plan to enable it some future patch? Or is there way to enable it now?

What we are expecting and what we are getting are unfortunately 180 degrees apart.

Doesnt matter what the degree is that they are aprt.. only the actual distance in between them

You know you can't allways get everything you want, But I think the developers are doing a prity good job of getting this sim up to and beyond my expectations

Can I get some help? Steam does not update, there is no Update Box or Auto Update Box, and COD does not update???????
