Well, supposedly having the two independent screens will make the 3d experience better (no crosstalk). Also, many movies suffer from paper cut out effect because they were never captured in 3d or just didn't get good implementation.
I'd imagine games, where all the content is rendered on the fly(and hopefully tweaked based on user preferences), the 3d effects would be more realistic. Most of the people who have had experience with HMZ-T1 mentioned how incredible it was with the PS3 games.
Even if the 3d effect isn't really there, if the FOV of the screens is great enough, it'd be pretty immersive by itself.
