Yes, I tried it with Il2 Classic.... True, big difference, but also with some jarring ahistorical moments...

Thanks for your comments!

Nice vid! That Spit's 3rd go at you got lucky, but you denied him the "kill" credit with that excellent forced landing despite being severely wounded.

perfect showcase: 4:36s the spit's upon him and he's looking it's direction, and even if you pause it's almost impossible to spot the damn plane! this just can't be a true display of the real life situation! something should be done, even adding bloom effect to damn fighters would be more realistic... no don't do that. but almost....

I'm curious about the zoom onto the wheeled artillery piece at minute 1:20 in your video .. I assume you are using TrackIR (or maybe FreeTrack)?

How did you get that kind of zoom?

Is it just z-axis movement (moving head towards the monitor)? If so, I would love a copy of your TrackIR profile, as I am unable to reproduce that effect.

If not, I would still love to know how you did it.

In any case, I enjoyed the video...

Ah, this is where the moderators put my thread.... - Yup, well hidden away so nobody will see it. Well done. I guess the moderators really don't want me to be posting any of my future vids on this site. Wonder what I did to bother them?

Smurf, I set one of my joystick buttons so that when I hold it down I can zoom in and out with mouse movement. It is in the key command section of CoD somewhere.

Why do they even bother, I wonder...

Anyway, I post my movies on ubi and simhq, so you'll find them there.
