rhe new drivers are fine to me and i have a gts450 too. The best thing for me was switching from XP to win 7 64bit!
It was a HUGE step forward.
the game runs good for me.
But when flying online all ~30mins i most quit and load cause my 4 gb RAM where slowly used to the limit more and more till launcher error and huge stutters before.
Since yesterday i have 8 gb RAM now and yesterday night i was playing online 3 hours without problems.
But i must say there were only 12 people flying on ATAG..i dont know how it works with more?

ooooh! i missed the part where you said u had windows xp. There's a big part of ur problem there (thought it might have been a 32bit problem.. pays to actually read properly ). From what i gather from other ppls comments, Clod dont run too well on xp cause of directx 9. As martin said, if you can switch to win7, youd be doing urself a massive favour.

I had a GTS450 in my HTPC with a i7 920 @ 1080P and upgraded it because I couldn't play games without lowering the resolution and turning off the eye candy.
That was only games like Assassin's Creed, Batman, Just Cause 2... games I could use a Xbox controller while sitting on the sofa.
I still have problems running COD.

Your problem must be XP. I have a very ordinary rig and can play CloD fine with medium settings with acceptable frame rates.

win7 home premium 64bit
X64-based PC
intel Core 2 Quad cpu Q8300 @ 2.50GHz(4CPU)
4 Gig RAM
DX 11
NVIDIA Geforce GTS 250 (1 Gig RAM)
Saitek AV8R joystick
TrackIRv5.

Latest nvidia drivers, defragged and caches cleared, honestly the only problem I am having is a bit of tearing with trackIR.

This is turning into a VERY expensive game considering the system specs claimed. I can go into some servers and it runs fine then others I just pick sides and the launcher needs to close. I seen another thread where the guy says to take a dll file out and it stopped the crashes, but I cant find it now.
I really hope they dont intend on putting battle for moscow out till this game is running.

If one doesn't spend all his spare money for his/her hobby, it isn't his/hers hobby at all.

The game isn't expensive! Your hobby is.

And part of a hobby is to know how much you have to spend. I read the system specs and figured I can run this a medium settings. I didnt see anything in the specs that called for a $3000 dollar computer to run it.
I have one of the competitions games on this computer and it runs at nearly perfect settings. I came here to find a fix not another problem.....As a consumer I think I have paid for the right to criticise a product that doesnt work.
