I agree that a campaign map would be a nice addition. But not like the one in Total War. Rather like the map in "Shadow of the Horned Rat" - you make the decision between options A, B and sometimes C, and the campaign continues depending on your choice. You also would get different units, quests and so on... yes, it would triple the effort needed to create a campaign, but it would be so nice...
