In the meanwhile you can also compare against each other
![]() http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php GTX 550 in the link you've posted is only: Memory Interface: 192-bit Stream Processors: 192 That's gonna hurt a bit I believe . Last edited by Jumo211; 10-12-2011 at 07:33 PM. |

Personally I wouldn't go for a 550, they're a little closer to budget than I'm comfortable with. The 560Ti on the other hand is a very capable card, and I certainly have no issues with my GTX570. Comparable AMD cards are also availible for good prices. I've seen 6970s for ~$225 on Amazon before, and those are just as good as my 570, if not better in some cases due to the amount of VRAM. The 6950 isn't anything to sneeze at either and none of these cards should be more than 350.

Actually, my current cuda cores are 128 in my GTS 250, so its still an improvement. Even the clock, core and shader speeds are quite a bit higher than my current card/s. But the 570 is indeed looking promising, not too bad a price $250-300, I can live with that. Thanks gents Whiskey Last edited by Whiski; 10-12-2011 at 09:13 PM. |
