Upgrade your hardware. With the rig in your sign, it´s the only way. My tips:

1) You need more RAM, and DDR3. Somthing like +6GB;

2) Maybe other multicore CPU. I have one cheap Phenom X4, but with nice 3.4GHz. And this CPU do the trick running CloD ok;

3) Faster VGA.

im sorry, but im not wasting 800 euros on a pc for 1 game. i will wait at least till the first Air Wars, USL, and i start to see more than 100 persons online on a daily basis, for that.

It's not for one game. With this upgrade even modded IL-2 1946 will run MUCH better!

It's not waste of money, it's investiment.

il2 1946 runs with 70+ fps. so im not worried about that one.

Also investing in the PC world is not worth it. wait 6 months you will get better and cheaper.

when Clod its the snow ill upgrade it: those are my expectations.

Yeah, not just for COD, newer games will require an upgrade, and don't believe the hype that the desktop / laptop is dead! tablets might be convenient but they're also seriously underpowered .. under everything actually! It'll take 5+ years before tablets get current laptop powers! IMHO

The overwhelming market is mobile and tablet computing. Games for PC's are becoming much more niche cultures now.

No not dead. But businesses are adopting more mobile devices now over the usual desktop. Mobile computing offers so much more to a foot soldier that travels a lot. From everyday business person to your latte yuppie. There is a new tablet out that cost $35 now. hehe I'll use these for a stocking stuffer next Christmas.

I agree - a fantastic video! This sim is really starting to look so life-like!!
