I set Ctrl+m to turn them off, the first time I fly after loading the game I press this once and it disappears. The second time I press it twice (to cycle through low res, then disappear). However, moving the canopy and sometimes just in normal flight the mirror flickers back into existence (since removing mirrors give me at least 5 fps this is a bit annoying). It sometimes seems to be something to do with lighting, as I was in a spin the mirror would always reappear when I was facing at a certain angle from the sun, every single time my plane swung round.

I know it is quite a small bug, but maybe the mirror isnt being properly removed, so might still be rendering, which could affect performance on the RAF a/c.

Also getting a bug when shot, being injured makes the instruments look a bit strange, as I think someone has already mentioned.

Performance is getting better for me though, just need less stuttering, as FPS is getting better.
+1 I get this too, have done for ages

Also the trees shimmer like crazy and it actually hurts my eyes. I turn them off most of the time as its just too much.

Latest nividia beta driver.
But this shimmering and movement has been going from the start even with ati too so its not a driver of card issue.
