Excited to try this as I have the same GPU as you katdogfizzow, although sadly only 1, not 2 SLI'd!

Thanks for the info.

On my GTX 580sc going from the last beta drivers (285.26?) to these I gained a lot.
min fps jumped up by 10+fps, max...well I cant tell its capped at 60 with Vsync!
Average now flying low over londons rooftops with all the settings on high is at lowest 49-50fps.
Really starting to like this game...!

I tried this new driver and didn´t see a big difference, only 1 fps + in min.
I´ve been using the 275.33 driver, for me the best by so far.

I have 280.26, and Nvidia driver update says I'm up to date, so where's this 285.36, or 285.38 as Tvrdi says, come from please?

No worries, found it.

It's a beta Dutch

If this works I'm gonna hate you nvidia users... I really dont want to buy a new card.

Tbh I get 40-50fps atm just hope the slow downs and crashes are removed in the final patch.

I was happy with what I've got driverwise mate, but every little helps.

I'm getting similar rates to you online with game 'maxed out' already, but over London it still struggles. If the beta driver helps with that well.......

So where do I get it then?

No worries, found it.

I'm running the beta drivers (clean install) with the beta patch (from a clean install) and it makes no difference whatsoever (GTX580). Still get stutters at low level (even with lowered settings) and awful slowdown with flame/smoke effects etc. Good framerates generally......just the micro stutters which are the main problem really. Plays Rise of Flight smooth as silk though, with excellent frame rates.

I wouldn't buy another thing 'for' this sim......its the crap unoptimised code that is to blame (which Ilya has essentially admitted) and you can't really buy your way out the problem; if you try to atm, you have more money than sense.

They are trying to fix it though to be fair, so we'll see.

EDIT: HANG FIRE! I'm actually using the 285.27 BETA drivers, NOT the 287.36, so my mistake (didn't realise a new BETA had come out). I'll give this a try and report back, hope it does better. Cheers.

EDIT II: Should I go for the .36 or .38? Since there is a good report for .36 I reckon I'll try that first.

+1

I've seen no frame rate increase on my GTX480 with these beta drivers. My previous were the 275.33
