The 109 was the Spitfire of the Germans. Posing for photo ops, while the Focke Wulf, like the Hurricane/Typhoon for the brits, did the hard work.  |
From a German newsreel so there's really no way of knowing. Looking at that 9 minute guncam movie you're right though. I'm sure a 109 with one 30 mm could do the same thing.
