Weathering Slide Problem

I used the Standard_39B Skin in programes>SteamApps>common>il2 cliffs of dover>paintschemes>skins>Spitfire Mk la
Then saved to Documents>1cSoftClub>il2 cliffs of dover>paintschemes>skins>Spitfire Mk la
It loaded Fine but just cant adjust Weathering
Maybe I have used skins from wrong location,I just assumed that these were
the ones to use
