When this patch was released I accidently deleted all files via steam...So i had to wait while it downloaded the game again, then i installed Beta patch so my game was fresh and clean if you like

I have the launcher crash now and didnt before... It happens everygame more or less too

I was having a lot of crashes with the 'display driver has stopped responding but has recovered' message and I must have spent hours trying suggested fixes, older driver sets, lower settings, you name it.

What has worked for me is changing My config .ini in the 1C softclub folder. Under the [window] section the Render line was 'D3D10_0'. I have changed this to 'D3D10_1'. There is a thread somewhere that had the suggestion to change this setting but it looks like it works for some and not for others.

It's quick to try and makes no difference to either performance or graphics quality but I haven't had a driver crash since.

I don't find the Thread... but i've had stutters, too while dogfighting with multiple contacts.
I tried the solution to start Cliffs of Dover with the launcher.exe in the steam Il2 folder and it works much better, more FPS and only sometimes some stutters occurs, but not as often as before.
Give it a try

Cheers
