Thanks so much for posting this video! It gives a great rendition of how awesome the 109 sounds now... And thanks for showing the flyby views as well as the engine at idle on landing. I love the whine. This is fantastic. So real sounding now...

Nice video!

The game is looking good. Nice evening light, cockpit light, and nice colours.
This sim is a masterpiece... Just now I spawn in a MP session and after start engine opened the canopy and look high... A dog between an 109 and two Spitfires...

Man... I was in a MOVIE! Never had this experience in ten years of IL-2 series!

Some still don't understanding what we have in hands... I noticed this potential since the bugged first release...

Amazing! I remember the "cartoonish visuals" topics...

Time, Lobi,

Those last 2 videos were amazing. Colors look great, the sounds are awesome as well!

I have to agree the 109 sounds much better than the Merlin, my guess is the 109 engine is "further along" than the Merlin. I'm sure this new sound guy is slowly reworking everything and he started with the 109 so it's the most done? The sounds from a distance are amazing.

Okay Lobi I must know your PC specs as well as your in game video settings. Everything looks so sharp and smooth!

Keep up the good work guys. It's videos like these that will get more people to buy this game or reinstall it.

You can place static cameras from the mission builder, then you can cycle them with ctrl+F2 (same key used for enemy aircraft) or from the drop down menu (enable mouse cursor with F10, right click and select from the menu).

As for the previous comments, i agree with the "being in a movie" feeling. Yesterday i fired up the stock bomber intercept mission from the QMB and was shooting up some Blenheims in a 109E4 to test the new cannon shells, i got greedy and their gunners got some good shots at me. Wounded and with both radiators busted i made an emergency dive out of the fight and landed at the nearest friendly airfield with 3 kills confirmed.

I taxied away from the runway, switched off my engine, opened the canopy and then i suddenly heard "vvvvvvvrrrRRRRRRRROOOOOOOooommmmmmm" as the wingman is banking overhead

More than anything else, it's the sound of aircraft from afar and when they fly over you when you are on the ground that has impressed me the most in terms of the new sounds.

Blackdog, last night in ATAG server... look this just after enter server, starting engine...

I started my MP night this way!

BEST-COMBAT-FLIGHT-SIM-EVER!

Specs: Phenom X4, 8GB RAM, 560Ti 1GB. All I need now to run this way, with FRAPS, TEAMSPEAK, FREETRACK, etc running in background!

A new age is coming!
