Just tried and must say GREAT effort.

Here's my one (for now) gripe. MGs in the Brit planes need to be better. Don't care if this is realistic (whatever that means flying a computer), it needs to make you feel like your spitting lead, not spitballs. My ideal would be Jafa but with the volume turned down 25%. I'm done...let the hating begin

I am still getting unplayable frame rates which I put down to my GPU. So while it looks great the FPS are all over the place even with reduced settings. Here's hoping for a Crossfire fix next.

Crossfire seems to work fine here, both GPUs and memory reported as getting equal use, temps seem to confirm this.

Several reports say X-fire is improved in this patch.

It's just like it's supposed to be. At low RPM you only get the idling sound of the engine. When you advance the throttle the supercharger also picks up RPM and that is a turbine of sorts, so you get that high pitched whine sound. As your speed increases you also reach a point where the sound of the propeller and airflow partially obscures the engine sound, but that is not part of your video because it happens at somewhat high speeds (have a nice dive until you reach 500-600km/h or so and you'll hear it )

I think that they got the 109 sound spot on, the DB601 engine is well known for its supercharger whine.

In other words, it might take you some time getting used to it but there's nothing wrong with your installation or sound card.

Can I get some clarification from anyone who flies regularly?

To me the beta colours seem to be off, it looks too washed out. In alexmdv's video I think the non beta colours are more realistic.
