Hyperlobby now Cliffs of Dover ready.

Ok, firstly NO as you can direct connect, Secondly Ive not experienced anyone else having these problems and I certainly have not..I also don't see how they can be related m8

Have you done the usual...checking files etc..

Also maybe save your config's and reinstall?

HL Is a great lobby and will be much wanted and needed Im sure by the community to get CoD where Il2 was...

IL2 would of never been as big as it was if it wasn't for HL Im pretty certain of that, try the above m8 im sure its something simple

Works fine for me and just like always I was able to help someone in chat with his full mission builder with this link because I had the internet right there. After he looked at the link we talked more and he figured he had a much clearer grasp of things by the time we were finished. That was just with 4 people on. When there's 100 you can usually find out anything.

The only problem is no one has caught on yet I guess because no one is using it to fly in the missions available.

Ahh,could this be why I get lost connections/time outs with host when playing online?.......I still have mine checked,but will uncheck now.

Good day All & S!

I have installed HL on my PC back in the IL2 days, and have it sitting there doing nothing for quit some time now.

Then I saw this thread with COD being tested with HL so I went and updated it for COD and it worked fine for me which is great for COD.

Before I updated COD to host for my squad mates I would go into lobby and so forth and get to the screen were you chooses a map you want to play on.

So I have now uninstalled HL (for no reason of the program, personal choice) and now when I go back to the lobby to host a mission it still shows open mission1, hyper lobby by smiladon. Then click ok and when it goes to the choose a map screen (sometimes it does not even that far just hangs) nothing is there to choose from.

I have done the steam thing were it goes through and takes the patch of to the last update, put the latest beta patch back on gone back into lobby to host a game and open mission 1 is STILL there! Very frustrating wishing I had never installed HL now it has stuffed up my ability to host a mission, and of cause my squad mate do not want to install HL now for that reason.

Has HL done something to my game?? Please guys any suggestion.

i will post this link in Hl forums and find out what is going on.maybe Alpha or Jiri can give an explanation. I dont think it has done anything to your game. I think the game just remembers what u last hosted. not for sure. can you try backspace and then add your new info for game host info?I noticed that when i host it says whatever i hosted last. for example open mission 1 just like you but i always host from lobby anyways so it doesnt make a difference to me.But i will try and help to find a solution to your question.Remember that CoD lobby in HL is still Beta and if there is a problem please post it so Jiri will know and take care of any problems that anyone here is having.

hope to see you guys flying in hyperlobby, the more pilots we can get in there and finish this Beta test the quicker we can solve any problems that are being experienced and have a community for Cliffs of Dover.

This Sim needs a lobby, it is the only way it will succeed like il2 did.

Can someone please put up a server in hyperlobby with externals please.I really enjoy the external views with Dover. the landscapes and eye candy look awsome.

The thing that has me worried is the fact there are no missions to choose from when i go to the actual part of the sreen to pick a misson to fly in.

give Jiri or Alpha time to get back to you on this.I take it that Browse your documents folder, subfolder "1c softclub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover", open file conf.ini, search section [net] and delete the line "serverName="

didnt work?
