No I know that rich is lever down. I read somewhere that in reality pilots move the throttle together with the mixture. In this case they lean also the mixture but this is in contradiction with what everyone else is saying: that rich mixture has to be kept... I don't know...

After warming up the engine to at least 60 degrees and with prop pitch set to fine, I, too, have found lean mixture on the Hurri makes it much easier to take off.

On take-offs I haven't yet tried lowering the flaps at all, though.
