Put your morter team into move mode then move them with the controll button they will walk throug the sandbags. then tell them where to go in the normal manner.

3. Weapons can be lost due to explosions, etc and can manage to fly like a bird.
Over saving and loading they can vanish as well as waiting for some time.

4. If a truck is shot, almost always only one time is enough, your crew will abandon ship and run for hiding or for that matter 4 cm from the damn truck and just stand there. Big chance that whatever shot at your truck also nailed them.

For your lost gear(like elite Tigers) make very sure to scroll fully down, I noticed some stuff I ordered to a location just happily resides there just at the edge of the map. But yeah some stuff never ever shows up.

about 3. Only tonight i discovered a soldier without his weapon, and checked
right away with the showitemsbutton. The gun was lying beside him !
Conclusion (after adding your comment) : check regularly, specialy befóre saving.
(i also noticed some incapacitaded men were miraculously revived, when i loaded a save).

about4. I realize that now.... even tankcrew sometimes run from only a few
tankammo-ricochets....but then i hastily put them back in.

The Tiger I (except 1x) and the Stug III just néver show up... but i can live with it.
Otherwise, all my ordered stuff shows up neatly at the clicked area.

Maybe it has something to do with the one mod i use. This mod corrects the amount of MP to 2500
and gives you extra hardware and special infantry to start the skirmish with.
