I've seen this picture posted again on this forum but it was a wider shot that allowed the viewer to see it's actually a poster on some wall.
If i'm not mistaken, i think it's hanging on a wall in some museum or restored warbird airfield in the UK. |

The pilot in the picture is clearly on of the CloD realism freaks and has got out to count the number of rivets on his wing.

Think i remember it as being a pic from a old movie.
Used to read a thick book a long time ago with lots of pictures from aviation films spanning from 1900 and onwards. Think i remember it from there. |

I remember Luthier saying that the pilot bail out animation was cut because our computers can't handle it, or something like that.
I wonder how much other stuff they wasted time on, instead of getting the main bits of the game right. As for the pic, I reckon it might be a planned 'parachute' test.Could be wrong, but it looks like the tests that were done when high speed bail outs were being looked at.
