Have you tried a full power reset on the PS3? (instead of just turning on/off)

Pull the plug out for 30 seconds.

I've had a similar problem in the past and I basically pulled the plug out of everything internet-y and the PS3, waited and then powered up everything in the order of 'nearest' the internet. In my case the fibre optic modem, then the hub, then the PS3.
