Yes I tried it on the repka server last night, perhaps I need to play online for a bit longer to confirm that it does work (there was no pattern or timing to the sound drop before) but I didn't get any sound stutters which I normally get for a few minutes before the sound cuts out entirely.

I'm still clinging on to the hope that there is a patch coming out soon and the reason we haven't seen or head anything yet is that they finally have the quality side of things worked out and are testing the patch internally before the beta release.

Just had a go, trees completely off and picked a spit 1a

engine on and taxied out but as soon as i took off the wheels rolling sound stayed on and never left.

attacked a Ju-88 and took hits but didn't hear any sound

and also never heard any other planes while flying or on the airfield.

though big plus...server very nice and smooth for me

, though looked horrible with no trees.

still no sound loss, though its dam dam ugly with out them trees.

Wish I could furbs unfortunately I'm stuck at work and I don't think the company would be happy if I installed steam

Steam couldnt find such, entering "furbs" it added something called "fercdl" without asking.. So let me ask you the first question of Immanuel Kants questions (Who am i, What can i know, What should i do?)..
