I've found that if the mouse is set to look mode (ie; no pointer showing) I cannot centre TIR, it'll happily work with mouse mode enabled in CoD.

Also, am I the only one suffering tracing glitches at all? seems that my view will glitch to odd angles every now and then.

Until it crapped out a couple of weeks ago, I had TIR4, and F12 worked just fine. I now have TIR5, and it works even better. F12 works, too. But, I still have some of the same problems mentioned above, which I think are profile problems.

I think another problem is just moving around in your seat, and not going back to exactly where your head was when you hit F12 at the beginning of a flight.

Can someone with TIR5 explain how to set and save a profile, and/or maybe provide a good one? The default profile moves too fast for my taste.

Thanks,

binky9

Re-center is F12 by default in TrackIR software. However u can set this to whatever, like for instance I've assigned it to a joystick key.
This way steam won't mess with recentering as it's in TIR sw.

Btw u can have different assignments per TIR profile.

Do you mean you cannot see the gunsight crosshair? I think the gunsight illumination is 0 my default. You have to assign a key to increase the gunsight illumination, and then hit the key repeatedly while in cockpit to make the gunsight brighter.
