F-18 would be cool......really hoping for a good carrier ops sim, but I thought the next one was going to be AH-64 Apache.

I own all the DCS products (the Ka-50 Black Shark and the A-10C Warthog), very step curve.
Don't fly them because I don't have the time to learn all the systems and avionics, they are big time consumers, at least to my level of knowledge. The manuals, information and help of the community are very good. And the products themselves are state of the art simulators. Cheers. |

Yea I love old aircraft, but I also like the new systems. I played PMDG's MD-11 for FSX, and immersing yourself on the ramp just starting up the engines is half the fun. Especially once you can do it just from memory.

Unless there is some sort of military contract for F18, I would say it would be F16. Yeah, yeah, boring ugly plane (however it is still a multirole one), but it was said that ED had almost all documentation required for modelling it, and that was 1-2 years ago, so F16 is very likely.

F-16 has been done to death, I would cream my pants if DCS made an F-14 sim though....closely followed by a harrier.
