Default What benefit to CLOD?

I intend to buy the 2500K, as it it recognized on a few sites as the best bang for the buck gaming CPU. But I've read somewhere on this site that overclocking them means not one twit to CLOD. Can someone direct me to some thread or related data that says different? I'm equally concerned to know if CLOD is now optimized to use all four cores efficiently. I've lost track of where the sim is in that area. Thanks for any input that can help me understand.

I've got a i5 2400 in my iMac and when I fly I can see a clear difference in the workload of all four cores. To me it seems CLOD utilize all four cores.

On OC:ing; I overclocked my graphicscard from 680/900 to 800/1100 (not touching the voltage) and that gave me 3 more frames in Black Death.
Not what you're talking about but perhaps some kind of indication of...something.
