This is great, I stand corrected! The Freetrack site still doesn't have the PS3 Eye listed as compatible, and I didn't realize there's a patch fix.
I've been wanting to compare Freetrack to FaceTrackNoIR. Two questions, FaceTrackNoIR doesn't need the IR filter removed, do you have to remove or modify the filter for Freetrack to work well?
