I have just noticed in the ATI Catalyst control centre that my 3D settings had defaulted back to the original settings. As soon as I put my custom settings back in again and flew some missions in COD, I was back up to 60-90FPS.

There appears to be something in the patch 1.01.14588 (I think?) that after you fly a few missions, your 3D settings in the ATI Catalyst control centre somehow default back to the original settings.

I would be interested if other ATI GPU members who are getting sudden FPS reductions, after checking their Catayst control center, have found the same problem?

Bear in mind that if you installed Cat 11.5 as directed before getting the patch, it will reset your Catalyst to default settings upon install (I made that mistake, was trying to run xfire for a full 10 mins before I realised! )?

Does sound like you might have this performance degradation too. Ignoring the reset catalyst settings for now, do you see a performance drop over time (say, running three or four missions over different areas) or from initial loadup/first flight?
