Cannot save personalized control settings

I finally found out what was happening after a hint in another forum.

The inability to save as / load control settings in the game menu is due to Aero / Desktop Composition being disabled in the right-click->properties->compatibility menu of the launcher.exe file, which I had configured that way before the full-screen video implementation of the last patch.

Now I can save as / load customized settings.

This ruined two of my days. The same was my problem (after laucher.exe crash, all config lost, and unusable the save and load buttons on control config page) while (!) I did remove all of the marks from the launcher.exe compatibility sheet. Since then (today afternoon) good. No compatibility limitation, no sysadmin running, but Aero on... Strange.

Dont know, but my problem are gone with this solution ....

Disabled desktop composition is the problem. UNcheck the checkbox.

Great just what I am looking for, I just reinstalled the whole game and it didnt fix the problem, wish I had looked here first
