I've also removed exclusive rights for my primary sound device and even reset the complete 1C Softclub folder thinking that it may be an old config file issue or some such. On servers with less people (and therefore presumeably) less strain, the cut-out issue doesn't ensue.

It's also not exclusivly a Realtek problem as some may have suggested. At least 2 of my squadies fly with dedicated creative boards and I myself am using a USB Headphone with builtin DSP as my primary sound device.

The bug wasn't there post 14550.

On the bright side of things, framerates online are now as high as they were in 14413 during single player. Stutters online have been practically alleviated. The visual experience is very enjoyable.
