Have the same problem too. 2 Sorties yesterday after patchinstall and both of em i encountered vanishing sound after like half an hour flying.
Then i updated my drivers (Soundblaster X-FI Fatality) and did another sortie. This time i flew like an hour and didnt have soundproblems. Well, i cannot say for sure but i hope the new drivers fixed it for me. It was late yesterday and i couldnt go on testing. Will do today and report if the soundbug is back or not. Winger
