3. No other WWII sim is even close so what is the alternative?

4. Watch a video like this http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=23041 and say which other sim does that? I just love the new complex engine management which blows IL2 to pieces.... and the rest.
Except for the fact that the rules of physics dont apply to the AI apparently.

The fear of 200.000 people wanting their money back after buying the game in it's current state. So far the game runs ok over water (25fps) with the first patch on my middle of the road system(no shadows). Only ctd's if I go to outside view on other aircraft, so I don't. With the last patch it crashes about 30 seconds into the game and shows massive artifacts. For a patient, hardcore simmer it's acceptable. For an average gamer it's a nightmare.

If they just made it an official paid beta program like DCS A10 it could be released. For me, even in it's current state, it's a blast to play. Have the gunsight controls mapped to my Warthog and can't believe the realism. Very immersive. Over land I can forget about combat but enjoy the eye candy while flying around at dusk or dawn.

Fix this thing to the point where it uses all the latest and greatest hardware. Get it to run stable on the advertised hardware before releasing it in the USA. If it takes untill Christmas to reach that goal, so be it. The hardcore simmers that don't sweat the small stuff and don't mind a little paid beta testing will find a way to get it right now.
