Then after the game has installed from the disc, the install is completed by steam updating the game with the core files that are needed (hence, only a portion of the game is installed from the disc). How do i know this? because i, like alot of others, bought the hard disc.

So if ur saying that ur able to play it straight from the disc, then im telling you your either full of it, or ur using a pirated version of the game. Oh and sure, u can play it offline, when u set steam offline, and even then its only playable offline if the game is up to date.

As you said yourself - So take THAT lol
I concur, ive uninstalled this game enought times and reformatted hardrives etc to know this..i purchased the collectors edition and what i really got was a box with some nice things in it and a cd with a CoD logo on it but Steam files on the disc...

true dat
