Well, this is how I solved the problem of too many keys to bind (although it took a bit of work ).
Couple of microswitches, toggle switches and Universal Joystick Controller BU0836X
That's a really good idea! Do you know if it's possible to use more of these units simultaneously. The possibilities would be endless.
