In Australia about a year ago, I guy broke in to a house, tripped on the table that was against the wall under the window and broke his leg. Police arrested him, he sued the owner and won $150k because he was poor and was only doing it to feed his kids and now he can't work.

Fugure that one out.

What case was that? Which state. Being a cop I've never heard of that one. We hear a lot of myths. Not saying it isn't true, just like to tell the boys at work.

Just checked. Didn't happen. Had plenty getting injured doing break and enter offences, including those getting mauled by dogs. They've never been able to sue or even have the right to complain about the dog.

Just to chime in - the guy obviously is a jerk. Don't understand how he passed the EEG and the epi test (I had to do mine for category 1 civilian medical) and didn't pass Oblivion .
