So long as all waypoints have been crossed presumably. Another downside to the way missions have to be made/structured in the IL2 series. That and a very stupid AI that behaves about as realistically as a plank.

yes AI are very dumb, shot the first bomber waiting to take of, and all the rest will run into it
Try landing at enemy base, and they will fill you full of holes, even when your on the ground they dont stop shoting

Maybe if they manage to put the AI calculations to a extra core the computing power will be there for a more believable AI.
