Ubishaft is only the publisher. Their demise would only be an inconvenience to Maddox games, or more likely a straight up blessing.

I think if u bother to actually read the Ubisoft results their position has improved from last year. profit and sales are both up.
cliffs of dover is very small beer to ubisoft anyhow. |

OH NO! They might shut down that amazing web site they put so many man hours into! And all the money they have wasted on that massive ad campaign to promote Cliffs of Dover.

Just look at state of game and think what possibilities for promoting this game are there. People are already unhappy, because they have received not what they expected. Imagine how angry they would be, if nice and effective ad (lie) campaign was run.

... may they go down the drain, I would not waste a tear for them!
![]() I guess Cliffs of Dover may as well survive and go on without them. Last edited by Pluto; 05-13-2011 at 09:51 AM. |

Have to agree. While Ubisoft sucks for a variety of reasons, I can't blame them for not wasting money promoting a game(a niche game at that) that went live in such a condition.

In all likely hood they didnt actually lose money but used creative accounting to make the books look bad to avoid paying corporate taxes.
