Oblivion is an old game now, if he wins his case that means every title ever produced would be applicable to this law. That is a truly terrifying thought for a publisher.

If he does win, the courts should ban him from leaving his house, as he may be a danger to others if he was to have a fit while walking down the street, then have the electricity cut off in his house so that the poor man cant make the mistake of playing or watching something(flickering light bulb maybe) that may cause a siezure, wouldnt want to let the poor bloke have to take care of himself

What is wrong with people particularly the US with there penchant for litigation I fell over last year on a curb broke my ankle in 3 places, but wouldn't consider suing, my kids were laughing there heads off that their dad couldnt jump puddles, had I sued(not that I know how to sue for personal stupidity) it would have gone against everything I have tried to instill in my kids.

Can't bag the Yanks too much. They are the source of amusement for the free world.
Just makes you more appreciative of your own country and fight harder against Amercianisms.

+100 it's all about wanting free money from someone else and Lawyers chasing their cut.
Bludging I would call it. I hope it costs him.

We ARE the free world, given this forum deals with a WW2 sim you would think some appreciation would be given to us Americans given how much help we gave the whole of Europe the UK and Russia during those years. How easy we forget... Tell ya what, the next time some crazy German decides to pwn your country(s) again, dont call us. After all, we are here for your amusement not to fight your wars right? Keep fighting these so called Americanisms (wtf does that even mean?) and us Americanismsms wont take any notice of you anyhow. Glad we could amuse you, perhaps after a few decades under some totalitarian rule you will beg us to stop making you laugh and come save your sorry ungrateful asses, again.

Please, give us a break, firstly this is about Americans love for suing people and while Im sure we are all happy and appreciative that you eventually joined in WW2 you made massive amounts of money out of it and you were a little late for the start as you were for WW1.

Of course the world appreciates the great sacrifices your troops made, but the Americans back stateside, hardly suffered at all in comparison with the British, Europeans and the in particular the Russians.

Oh by the way it's the Aussies and British helping you fight your wars at the moment, should we do this lend lease or just because we are allies?

Apologies to 99.9% of Americans as you are good people, but saying that you ARE the free world is a bit much, I'm quite happy living in Australias little piece of free world thanks.

I am from Germany and I can assure you that right now we are not planning on invading Poland again

BTW: thanks to your great-grandfather for helping us, getting rid of Hitler 65 years ago. You were the free world back than. But since then the rest of the world kept up and in quite some parts overtook you. Time to update your view of the world.

Look how East Europe changed since the end of the cold war. It is simply astonishing. Then compare it with the change in the US. I am not talking about wars here. But stuff like SWIFT, software patents, anti-pirating lawsuits and so on really shattered my hopes for the at least still a bit free world.

so long
Mathias

P.S.: Who was asking lately for help with some totalitarians? And looking at Gitmo and DHS, I fear in a few decades there will be only one totalitarian regime left. (couldn't help that, sry)
