Oblivion is an old game now, if he wins his case that means every title ever produced would be applicable to this law. That is a truly terrifying thought for a publisher.

If he does win, the courts should ban him from leaving his house, as he may be a danger to others if he was to have a fit while walking down the street, then have the electricity cut off in his house so that the poor man cant make the mistake of playing or watching something(flickering light bulb maybe) that may cause a siezure, wouldnt want to let the poor bloke have to take care of himself

What is wrong with people particularly the US with there penchant for litigation I fell over last year on a curb broke my ankle in 3 places, but wouldn't consider suing, my kids were laughing there heads off that their dad couldnt jump puddles, had I sued(not that I know how to sue for personal stupidity) it would have gone against everything I have tried to instill in my kids.

+1
Can't bag the Yanks too much. They are the source of amusement for the free world.
Just makes you more appreciative of your own country and fight harder against Amercianisms.

Remmeber this lady who made lots of $$$$$$ out of McDonald when burning herself with hot coffee ? Warnings were indeed written , but the court ruled that the coffee was indeed to hot...So she won...Simple, no ?
Or that other lady who slipped on wet floor at WalMart ? They were yellow warnings all over the place...She won because the court ruled that a wet floor is slippery, and the floor belonged to WalMArt.
And so on...That is how it works in the USA....Wonderful country with very nice people..But their legal systems has its flaws...Got money ? You can sue whoever
whenever you want for any kind of reasons...What ever is written were ever...
Americans are used to that ...They don't even care anymore..It is part of their culture now...

Salute !
