All these babies need feeding. You're never finished feeding. Whack-a-mole sort of thing.

The whole team deserves a holiday. Great of you guys to work on that patch instead of taking a rest, that's dedication to a measure which is rare in this market.

The new screenies are very promising - I also love the IL-2.
I will never forget the first time I started up the original IL-2 sim. It wasn't flawless but boy id it beat everything else...

The same will happen with CoD; patches will remedy some of the first issues. Then we will see a constant tide of updates. The sim obviously having a long development future, it will not get the usual (IL-2) framerates but hey!
this thing is being developed for the future and it won't be long until we get more goodies.

We know all that, right?
So why don't we give our favo development team a break?

Ah yes! IL2 - 2!

The 1C team have developed a tool that converts all IL2 planes into HD COD ones! .. and when they release all the new aircraft, they'll receive the Nobel prize as well.

Default V-E Day

Very well said Ilya. What IL-2 Sturmovik and IL-2 COD have done is realistically put you in the WWII air battle scenario, many people died in the real scenario. The simulations make you really think about what really happened and makes you think about the tremendous human losses from all sides during the war.

I have just finished reading Wing Commander 'Dizzy' Allen's account of the Battle of Britain in his excellent book 'Fighter Squadron'. During the battle, every week he lost a good friend, which he describes very passionately. Dizzy Allen flew Spitfires and our new Il-2 COD Spitfire really puts you in the 'hot seat' as he probably experienced it.

Good to see a Sturmovik pic and is the pic of the Kremlin a hint of a large Russian map?
