Default Three easy questions...honest!

CloD is up & operating pretty smoothly except for freeze up every other flight...oh well...
My questions?
1.) Is there a way to turn off the text that appears in flight? It really jams up the screen...I haven't found anything in config that might do it...
2.) So far I have not been able to get the several new skins to work...they show up in the preview window ( sometimes overlapping default markings) but don't show up in flight.Perhaps I have incorrectly loaded them? Right now they are copied into both skin folders ( I saw this written somewherea couple of weeks ago in a how-to..) I'm sure there will be many more to come so I want to get this straight now.
3.) Screenshot utility doesn'r seem to work after last patch- its programmed to print screen button & seems to work but no images are found in the screenshot folder...any ideas?

1: I believe it's Alt-Left click on the window, then right click and choose whatever option it is to remove the window. I could be wrong - all I know is I did it ages ago and they're not there anymore.

2: I think that's a bug, along with weapon loadouts not working for the QMB

3: also bugged as of the latest beta patch, iirc.

There's a lot of iirc in this post. Others could confirm/deny.

As the above poster said, you can alt-click on the windows to bring them into focus (clicking is reserved for the cockpit switches, alt-click for the windows), then right click and get the options for each of them.

You might want to make a backup of your configuration in the form of .ini files though, because if you later decide you want some of that information back you will have to manually recreate the window from scratch.

Initially they annoyed me too but i didn't disable them completely. I ended up resizing and repositioning them around the screen and now i have a functional interface customized to my screen size/resolution.
