I've put DAYS into beta-testing CoD for the developers. They haven't paid me...no, indeed, I PAID THEM. So the least I expect, after a long weekend, is some bloody word on what's being done to get the MP working again, not to mention the 101 other major issues that still haven't been fixed. Not some bollocks about an add-on/expansion months down the road.

Or am I being unreasonable? Please sir, when might I expect to be able to actually play the effing game I bought instead of endlessly TESTING IT?
+1000000000000

sanity at last, beta patches after beta patches and the only things you find to come with is a idiotic hint about a stupid add-on ( which you probably will charge us for and not a very original one on top of that...the russian front again!!is it you joker...)

PLEASE FINISH THIS BLOODY GAME THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!!

I paid your game with real money right, i mean i did not pay you with monopoly money so WHY OH WHY are you acting like i should get some kind of MICKEY MOUSSE kind of service from you, please , please Luthier explain it to me, i deserve an answer as i played all of your games for the past 10 years and i bought that non playable game PRE-ORDER mind you!!

and one more things, if you must do a bloody add-on why not try the MALTA campain should be quiet a nice following to the battle of britain! don't you think? And also Sir quiet frankly speaking can anyone really could stomack another russian front campain, comment give us a break or more simply, just a playable COD and i won't even ask about the radio...

Its simple, because you have 1000s of threads where you can cry about how angry you are.
But you choose this one thread that is about and event that is way more meaningfull that our gaming needs. And were the dev decided to give us a glimpse on the future of the series, wich will come when the engine is running steady of cuorse.

So will you grow up now?

So it's OK to praise 1C in this thread but not berate them?

How one sided.

Happy V-E day.

I too would like a med/balkans add-on (the existing planeset of CoD would already be good for that, add some 1942 aircraft that will double for the channel front '42 time period and you've got both Africa/Med and NW Europe covered up until 43) but on the other hand i also want to experience the eastern front campaigns with the capabilities of the new engine.

It will be a blast with the new damage modeling and CEM, flying those temperamental early war VVS planes or strafing armored columns in a sturmovik across the steppes.

And like others said, it makes sense to keep your artists busy with the next add-on while the coders focus on the bugs in the current version, it only saves time in the long run.

Maybe it's me, but shouldn't these art guys be doing something like, I don't know, optimizing their freakin assets? You know, stuff like compressing their damned huge texture files, optimizing the models, etc ? Half the performance issues in the game are their problem. I suggest they get on with it instead of modelling more useless churches and aircraft for the next add-on.
