Just backed up the files in the FF folder and replaced them with the ones I was using in IL2 (names are the same). They were originally taken from Neil Lowe's IL2 FFB settings that can be downloaded at mission4today (registration required).
I'll let you know if it "feels" better. Although, I'm kind of wary to be replacing any files in a "core" subfolder because it might just get me canned by steam. No risk- no fun.

I got G940 and the latest beta patch and i have no problems except that some times the FF takes some seconds to kick in if i start in air. but i usually dont so no problem.

I hope they get the boundaries of what gets us banned sorted out and in place quick. not knowing feels very limiting
