Feedback to the driver teams is all very well (assuming it's a driver issue at all and not just poor coding by 1C), but shouldn't 1C be in direct contact with them? In fact, shouldn't 1C know about and be fixing the "blue lines" Radeon problem? It's their responsibility, not ours.

Well, I did test it with DX9 like Doc suggested and the blue lines dissapear there.
For me running the game in DX9 is a bit of a no go though since I seem to have only half fps as in DX10. Running the game in DX11 (yes, setting that in conf.ini actually works ![]() But yeah, the three blue lines on the horizon seem to be a directX10 specific bug in combination with Radeon cards. |

Erm, I just set it in the conf.ini
![]() You know where normally the D3D10_0 or something is, just change that to 9 or in my case 11. To be honest I don´t know if it actually works that way but it sure seemed to have an effect, but I should try setting it to 12 or something too I suppose, to see if it´s not a hoax ^^ I have to warn you though, it lead to some funky graphical bugs for me (most notably with the terrain transitions between land and water, black lines on the edges of what I take to be terrain blocks and the majority of the houses not rendering). But! No blue lines on the horizon XD But yeah, thats how I set it. |
