for avatar see your profile ... there you can upload pic from your hdd or link from other site.

for signature and pictures ....upload them on host site like Photobucket http://s41.photobucket.com/

... include tag for pic in your sig or post:

[IMG]http:complete address of the file[/IMG]

like:
[IMG]ht://xxxxxxx.com/albums/e287/xxxxx/xxxx.jpg[/IMG]
